About Us

Empowering the next generation to create a better world.

Our Founder

Ranjitsinh Disale did not start a foundation because he had a theory about education. He started one because he had spent fifteen years inside a classroom — watching children fail not because they couldn't learn, but because no one had given them the right conditions to do so.

In 2020, he won the Global Teacher Prize — and shared half of his $1 million award with nine fellow finalists from around the world. Not as a gesture. As a statement: that transforming education is not a competition.

QEF is the next chapter of that belief — built in classrooms, proven in villages, and designed to scale.

Strategic Plan

QEF's Strategic Plan 2025–2030 sets out how we will transform public education in India — through scalable programmes, government partnerships, and community trust.

Over the next five years, we will:

  • Provide access to quality public school education for one million girls from historically marginalised communities through Doorstep Learning Labs.
  • Develop and implement an AI literacy programme in local languages, co-created with the Government of Maharashtra.
  • Engage 15,000 students as active advocates for peace, dialogue, and democratic values in their schools and communities.

Our three focus areas:

  • Girls' Education
  • AI Literacy
  • Peace Education — SDG 16
