That is where QEF begins — and where every transformation starts.
Founded by the Global Teacher Prize winner who redefined what winning means — by sharing his $1 million prize with nine fellow finalists worldwide — QEF works in spaces others overlook. Rural Maharashtra villages where blackboards outnumber books. Tribal communities where systemic neglect has created generations of educational exclusion. Homes where parents dream of their children's futures but lack the tools to support them.
Here, we don't just deliver programmes. We co-create solutions — with teachers, families, and students themselves.
By 2030, we are committed to supporting 10 million children to achieve grade-appropriate competencies — and equipping them with the skills, confidence, and curiosity to solve the challenges of the 21st century.
Diverse initiatives to prepare students for the challenges of the future
We follow a 3 I approach to achieve
the objectives of our programes
We go into classrooms, sit with teachers and parents, and listen to them. We identify what is actually broken — not what looks broken from a distance.
We co-create solutions with the teachers already in those classrooms and the parents already in those homes. Because the people closest to the problem are always closest to the answer.
Every intervention is tested, measured, and designed to work within existing public school systems — so that when it works, it can work everywhere.
Beyond the numbers, QEF empowers the next generation to create a better world — for themselves, and for the children who will come after them.
We have improved learning outcomes of 1.2 million girls since 2020.
Girls retention rate has jumped from 85 to 96% in the schools we supported.
